Clinical Trials

Facilitating faster, better recruitment for more efficient clinical trials

The success of any trial—and the safety of participants—depends on recruiting participants who meet specific inclusion criteria and who are not excluded for other medical reasons. If you have volunteered or applied to participate in a trial, one of the first steps is determining your eligibility according to the criteria developed for that trial.

Milliman IntelliScript’s role in the clinical trial process is to electronically source and deliver your health records, such as prescription histories and medical billing and diagnosis codes, to the organization checking your trial eligibility.

Security Is our highest priority

We handle your records securely and in accordance with HIPAA privacy requirements. Your personal health records are gathered with your permission and only upon your authorization, as provided when you applied to participate in, or volunteered for, the clinical trial.

Our process is protected by sophisticated security measures. Your information is retrieved in real time and securely delivered to the company recruiting or screening trial participants, as authorized. This data is only accessible for the purpose of determining your eligibility to participate
in clinical trials.

The IntelliScript advantage

Milliman IntelliScript makes the process of enrolling trial participants faster and easier by quickly delivering electronic health data to companies recruiting and screening participants for clinical trials. Your eligibility may be determined sooner, or you may avoid the hassle of getting deeper in the process before learning you are not eligible. By improving the efficiency of the recruitment process, we’re making it easier for people like you to contribute to clinical research.
